Sound of Music Cruise
Sound of Music Cruise
To celebrate next year’s 50th anniversary of the film The Sound of Music, Uniworld River Cruises will be offering a Sound of Music Cruise.* Several of them. The cruises will feature exclusive performances by Elisabeth von Trapp, granddaughter of Maria and Baron von Trapp.
A Little Do-Re-Mi
Sail on Uniworld’s “Enchanting Danube” cruise and join Elisabeth Von Trapp in Salzburg, Austria at the magnificent Mirabell Palace and Garden. Guests will be able to tap into their inner von Trapp and join a sing along of Do-Re-Mi at the garden where the song was filmed.
In addition, the “Danube Discovery & Prague” and “Delightful Danube & Prague” cruises will feature will be treated to special onboard performances of “the sounds of Von Trapp.”
Highlights of the “Enchanting Danube” cruise include stops at Budapest, Vienna, Dürnstein, Salzburg and Passau. Not a shabby cruise at all.
My Favorite Things
Uniworld River Cruises are All-Inclusive. What do you get with All-Inclusive? All gratuities onboard and onshore. An endless amount of beverages. And not just non-alcoholic drinks. I’m talking all beverages. Wines, craft and regional beers, spirits and cocktails. Give me a fist bump for that news. You also get shore excursions with local experts as your guide. Free Internet and Wi-Fi. And all arrival and departure day transfers.
Damn that’s good.
Rock my Uniworld
Uniworld is ranked one of the “World’s Best Cruise Lines” by readers of Condé Nast Traveler. It is distinguished as a “Platinum Circle Member.” That’s bestowed on companies who have been on the Gold List every year for seven years. Bam!
Several years running they’ve also been named Best Cruise in the Conde Naste Traveler’s Reader’s Poll.
